About me
Snezana Gavric’s research focuses on stormwater quality, specifically on various stormwater control measures and main mechanisms responsible for mitigating stormwater pollution in urban areas. Her work examines various operational conditions, such as winter snow storage and variety of land use types. An important aspect of her research involves the impact of stormwater drainage on soil quality, settled sediments and related maintenance practices.
More recently Snezana has been assessing organic pollutant groups in stormwater and the potential environmental effects of stormwater.
Snezana Gavric defended her doctoral thesis in December 2023, which focused on metals in accumulated material within gully pots, grass swales and stormwater management ponds. Snezana previously completed her master’s degree in Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade.
